Why is Performance Appraisal important?
Performance reviews can be good or bad, depending on the person.
There are many reasons why a staff member’s productivity may improve after receiving feedback from their manager and vice versa; this could mean anything from feeling less stressed out at work with some new ideas for improvement in mind, to being spurred into action by an adversary threatening consequences if they don’t deliver results as promised. All things considered though, there will almost always need to be some sort of follow up meeting later down the line just so everyone knows what changes were made following the previous month’s discussion about how each party plans going forward together.
What’s the Best Time to Have a Performance Appraisal?
Performance appraisals can have many beneficial and detrimental effects on productivity. The best time for you, as an employee or manager, will depend largely upon how often this process has been done recently in relation with your organization’s needs–sometimes they’re necessary while other times not so much!
One thing for sure though, it’s always a good idea to have regular meetings with your employees so they can provide feedback on their work environment and share ideas about how you could improve things going forward in order make them even more effective at producing results while boosting morale along the way!
