We are seeking to hire an experienced developer to oversee the development of functional applications. The successful candidate will be acting in a managerial role, overseeing functions of the junior developers.

This is a managerial position that entails for leading a team of developers responsible for building new and support existing applications whilst ensuring all projects are completed on time and to the company specifications. Job responsibilities

• Writing code, analyzing data and contributing to the design and implementation of applications.
• Ensuring that the Team produces scalable and functional applications that meet specifications.
• Perform code reviews, inspecting code quality and assuring process adherence.
• Analyze and contribute to user stories by discussing with the product owner.
• Collaborating and ensuring a smooth run of operations across multiple teams.
• Training & providing guidance to junior developers and new hires on company frameworks.
• Drafting application operating procedures and technical documentation as required.
• Setting goals for the team and cascading individual objectives as may be required.
• Building and improving application CI/CD pipelines and keeping tabs with latest industry trends and technologies.
• Actively participate in scrum processes with team members.

We would love to meet someone with

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field of study.
• A minimum of 6 years’ related work experience including experience working as an Engineering Manager or Software Development Lead.
• Extensive knowledge of software development & its technologies.
• Strong knowledge of .Net, .Net Core & C# frameworks
• Strong knowledge of servers and cloud infrastructure e.g., Azure
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture
• Knowledge of containerization strategies.
• Understanding of JavaScript and other similar frameworks e.g., ReactJs
• Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
• Ability to take ownership of projects
• Ability to lead a team with high emotional intelligence
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
