We are looking for an entrepreneurial, human-centered Senior Technical Product Manager to oversee the development of our technology product.

This role will be responsible for visioning, scoping, and building the company’s technology product and managing our technology strategy going forward. We view technology as a critical enabler of our client and customer experience and we are looking for a passionate and dedicated strategic leader to help build out this piece of the business. As such, we plan to develop homegrown tools for client and customer engagement, while leveraging and integrating with 3rd party technology information platforms. This person will have end-to-end responsibility for that work and will ensure that user needs, and company strategy are effectively prioritized as features are developed through design sprints for the MVP product on an ongoing basis. Candidates must have excellent problem solving, communication and project management skills; and must have a clear passion and commitment to excellence.

The Senior Technical Product Manager will be supported by a team of UX/UI designers and software engineers and will work cross functionally with other company units.

What You’ll Do:

Strategy development

  • Identify the most critical needs of the organization that can/should be solved with technology
  • Continuously collect and analyze user feedback; competitive analysis and other research to help feed ongoing design and prioritization efforts
  • Translate identified needs into a technical strategy, including driving recommendations around what to buy; what to build and on what timeline
  • Develop and track key performance metrics
  • Continuously analyze data from our own products as well as external sources to guide ongoing decision-making

Develop product roadmap

  • Define and prioritize requirements from various stakeholders
  • Build crisp requirement documents
  • Set-up and manage development sprints for on-time delivery

Oversee design sprints

  • Partner with UX/UI designers to design tools that make complex workflows simple for end users
  • Provide real-time trouble-shooting support, as needed
  • Help manage 3rd parties to ensure effective integrations

Work cross functionally to gain insight and input and to gain buy-in to end product design

  • Gather ongoing input on user needs and feedback on technology
  • Help negotiate tradeoff decisions
  • Communicate product features, release timelines to key stakeholders

  • Experience as a Product Manager for a consumer facing product
  • Experience leading design, feature breakdown and product development from inception to shipped software
  • Strong technical skills – don’t have to be an engineer but can navigate APIs, databases, and system architecture
  • Proven ability to influence cross functional teams with and without formal authority
