Job Title: Team Lead Security Ops Centre(SOC) and Infrastructure Sec. Job Summary The job holder will have responsibility for ensuring that key risks facing the bank’s enterprise network infrastructure, data processing centers and hardware assets are proactively managed in line with best practices. This involves conducting risk assessments, developing and implementing appropriate risk treatment plans, developing and implementing security policies and standards Duties And Responsibilities • Reporting Infrastructure and Network related Issues to Management • Support the development, update and implementation of effective Information security standards, policies, procedures and guidelines on the management of the Bank’s network and hardware assets in line with best practice • Review and Manage technical security assessments of the enterprise network infrastructure • Review and Manage risk assessments covering the design, implementation and operation of the Bank’s key network and hardware devices to ensure that all key risks are identified/assessed and appropriate controls recommended and implemented in line with best practice • Review and Manage implementation of security controls and processes that will safeguard the availability and integrity of the Bank network and hardware resources and support the confidentiality of sensitive information. • Review and Manage access control for all key network infrastructure elements and monitoring of ForeScout NAC • Review and Manage the Network security architecture and configurations to ensure the bank’s network is secured. • Review of Service Level/Maintenance and Support agreements with IT vendors and telecoms providers Key Performance Indicators • Risk Assessment Report for IT assets • Existence of security policies, standards and guidelines for Server Infrastructure Job Requirements • Good technology related university degree preferably in Computer Science/Electrical Electronics Engineering or Numeric /Social Science. • CCNA Certification, MCP, MCSE, CISA • Minimum of 3-5 years cognate IT/IT Security experience Key Competency Requirements Knowledge • People Management skills • Reporting skills • Required knowledge and interest in IT Governance Practice • General knowledge of Operating systems and servers • In depth knowledge of IT Security fundamentals and practice • In-depth knowledge of IT Controls • In-depth knowledge of infrastructure security principles and practices • In-depth knowledge of IT strategy and Business strategy formulation • Ability to conduct IT Risk Assessment • General Analytical Skills • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Good working knowledge of Microsoft platforms Skills/Competencies • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Good working knowledge of Microsoft platforms • Good Understanding of Microsoft platform |
